toxic-taco:

I could think of a few treats.

Maybe his head on a platter? Who knows.

“At the very least, you’d probably be more fun to play with than the little girl. You don’t look like you’d break too easy.”

Such a shame, all those cheaply-made chew toys…

“I’m beginning to think you do not have a wide vocabulary.”  Ohh, baby, please don’t get into a fight with him.  He looks like he might eat you.  Then again, Otae had a fairly large pride and once she was going she was like the fucking Juggernaut.

“Well then, Fen, it’s a pleasure to meet you.  I hope that despite how we first got off we can become friends~” Why did that sound dangerous even coming from her?  Perhaps it was the dark smile she had.

She could think what she wanted of him - it was more amusing that way, really. In fact, the less a person expected of him, the better.

“I dunno, I’d say we ‘first got off’ pretty well,” but then, he had a rather bad track record as far that went. “But if it’s pleasure you’re looking for, oh, I’m sure we’ll get along just great.”

Not that he didn’t mean it - but what was he saying? He was starting to sound like a certain womanizing moron he recalled, at the very least, loathing.

Hal?No… This guy looked a lot like him, but was definitely not the guy he knew. “You’re not Hal, but…” but the resemblance was uncanny. “Names Fen, and who are you?” he questioned, with less malice and more curiosity as he squinted a little at the man.

That’s it for him, he’s checking out for the night.

“Hijikata Toshizo,” he added on as the young man trailed off. Mm, perhaps he wasn’t so bad. He’d appreciate a student who stayed out of his hair - he had more than enough constantly tangling themselves in it. In all of their good intentions, of course, but he wasn’t sure how many more he could get in there without losing his mind.

“I’m sure you’ll fit in fine, Fen.” It was awfully strange to refer to a student quite so informally, but it was true, Fenrisulfr didn’t roll off his tongue in quite the right way. “Do you know what your homeroom is?”

“Not so sure I’d be here right now if I did, Hijikata,” his bemusement was beginning to show. Actually, that hadn’t been entirely true. This ‘school’ bullshit wasn’t his idea, but he figured he should get an idea of what the people in charge were like. But now that he mentioned it… No, he hadn’t the slightest idea what class he was supposed to be in.
